Yesterday, I had to take one of my employees at work to the bank with me, and he's about 50-60 something. As we're walking to my car, he asks what kind it is, and I said "scion." He asks, "Zylon?" "no," i said "Scion. s-c-i-o-n."

We get in, and he says, "so that's how you say it? I always call them skee-ons."
Oh boy.
He proceeds to ask a series of questions....
"is it 4 wheel drive?"
'no.'
"all wheel drive?"
'no.'
Then the kicker.....he goes....
"is it considered an SUV?"

Jesus christ man, its a subcompact......I mean, he drives a PT Cruiser, so if my little XA is an suv, what is he behind? Oh god....

 

I hear ya. When I first got mine everyone was trying to define it into one category or another. I'm thinking the Scions are a category all their own.

 

5 door hatch. . . like a VW Golf/Rabbit, but smaller.
