Default xB's are cooler...but I bought an xA because....

I had trucks, several of them since 1988 then it was a toyota, then a 1990 F-150, followed by a 1993 F-150 xcab, 1997 E350 van...a large box with a v10 engine... so when my gurl said check out the scion I immediately wanted something small the xA. So after 2 months and a few modifications(sub for the stereo, rims, tires, and lowering springs) I'm cool, yet when I think about the popularity of the xb I get a little jealous that it's cooler than my car...second thoughts maybe but I have no regrets, especially when I park and there's no visibilty problems in traffic ether.

the xA can be just as cool as the xB. it's just up to you to make it cool.

I think you are mistaking cool with popular... The xB's just get more fame because they are more "out there". I'm happy with my xA, hope you are too.

I like my xA. Reason why i chose it over the xB was because i knew that the xBs' were going to be the choice of soon to be scion owners who wanted to fix it up. I wanted to be different. :D

I was in a similar boat to GWxA... I originally had eyes only for the xB, but after a while it grew off of me while the xA grew on me. I had a long while back (about a year ago in December) test drove a Matrix, and while I liked the styling its handling made me a bit unhappy, but now the xA gives me the best of both worlds!

welcome to the Scion club either way!

I've liked the xA since the begining. I've never liked the boxy look of the xB, but thats just my likes and dislikes. Seems alot of people get the xB though.

id like to have em both. xB as my pypm ride with the rims and yada yada yada... the xA would be a "Race" vehicle with the GReddy TC when its finally released and other goodies.

the scion higherups feel that the xA is eventually going to be the more popular ride, and the next big thing for tuners. I think I agree...the xB is the shiznit right now because it's so different, but I think the xA and tC are going to shut down honda hard.

At first, I liked the xA more than the xB. But I've always been partial to hatchbacks. Granted, the xB has defenitly grown on me. My friend got an xB, and once I saw it in person, I knew I had to get one of them. Since he was like the only one (at the time) in Washington with that one, I wanted to be the first one with an xA. And I achived that.

:D

I got hooked on the Scion's cause I saw an xB at a local dealership. The salemen was like yea we had to buy that from cali and blah blah blah. So I went and looked over it, literally over the roof. I thought it was awsome. Then I saw that xA and thought, "Thats the new ride, no argument."

mine felt a little stiff at first, but after you get about couple hundred miles on it you don't notice it. after i had randy throw on the trd springs it was alot smoother. i like the xa much better than the xb, i was watching the promo videos in toyota dealerships before they even came out and liked the xa, the xb looked nice as hell on the inside but as soon as it showed an exterior shot of the car i was like ewwww.. but eh, it grows on you. i got the xa cause no one had it, i saw a bunch of xbs around and no xas. now i'm seeing a few more of them around here... everyone with an xa honks at me to show theres off... funny.
