Maybe 387,000 is all it'll do. The car finally crapped out today. Just stopped running at an intersection. Sounds funny when it cranks. Thinking possible timing chain failure. Changing a chain might not be so bad, but pulling the head and replacing valves would seem silly on an engine with 387,000 miles. I'll try and diagnose it tomorrow when I have some time. Just kinda hoping it isn't an interference fit engine (where the valves hit the pistons when the cams don't turn)
