Hey guys, just wanna ask , will the 2ZZGE engine fit in the scion ? and if it does fit it will be damn exciting to boost it to 200hp and so on...

You could boost it but it would require lots of custom work and tuning.

 

on stock parts you can boost about 4psi

Someone told me a few months ago when i brought this up that the 2zz 6-speed tranny wouldn't fit, you'd have to use the 1zz 5 speed with the 2zz.

You could put the 2zz in there, but you would have to do some cutting and it won't be cheap. They put a 2zz in an echo for cryin' out loud.

 

um that's cuz it's a totally different tranny. auto. from what i've been told and read you have to use the 1zz 5spd . and any tranny can fit any motor withing reason if you use a plate. how do you think soo many different dragsters can use the same hydroglide tranny. ya know those 2 speed ones on anything from supra's to imports.

 

iz there no other gearbox that will fit with the 2zz ?? why would'nt toyota make vvtli available for a small engine like the 1nzfe instead of just vvti ?? it sucks...
