60k miles on the XA, what needs work?
We have done next to nothing but change the oil in this thing and replace the filters when needed, what is it time for (like plugs and wires) and what kind should we replace them with?
I'm sitting at 60k as well in my xB. The only thing I have had to replace were the plugs, did those around 30k miles ago just for the hell of it. It ran much better. Just get a decent set of NGK Iridium plugs and you'll be good to go. Gotta love a Toyota.

start lookin at belts, battery, spark plugs, trans fluid drain and fill for manual trans or trans flush for auto. maybe brakes if you haven't done that yet. the waterpump on the 1nz engines goes out alot too. not as bad as the 2az engines but fairly often.
I've got 221,000 on a xA 5 speed.
Oil/filter every 5,000
Spark plugs every 50,000 (Probably not needed)
Water pump at 193,000
air filter about every 20,000 (when it looks dirty)
Main belt at 165,000
Battery at 163,000 (it started looking frayed)
Front pads about every 80,000
I did rear brakes at 210,000
Heater blower at 200,000 (should have changed the cabin filter)
Think I did front rotors at about 160,000 (can't really remember)
My tires usually last about 60,000
You should change the brake fluid and antifreeze, but I keep forgetting.
This is about as durable as a car can get. Minimal maintenance, and you should get 250,000 miles out of it. If I don't get 400,000 miles, I'll be surprised.
