AEM dryflow filters
just saw my friends brand new cai for his spec-V... came with a dry-flow filter. i read up on it on aem's website, and they claim better filtration without the oil AND lifetime use of these filters. no metal screen mesh, reinforced with something else (i think a plastic type thing) so it retains its shape. servicing is supposed to be much quicker since it does not involve oil.
have you guys tried this filter? im thinking of getting one for my injen sri – i am currently filter-less (its not on the car, obviously). everything sounds almost too good to be true. the absence of the oil may most likely keep the MAF sensor happy.
i want one.

I have the AEM dry-flow filter, and I have been happy with it. Purchased a bottle of the cleaner with it also. I had heard the stories about a re-oiled filter causing the MAF sensor to die, and I didn't want to risk that. Too much oil? Too little oil? Dry-Flow was the answer for me.
