Default Aftermarket sound with stock muffler

Just testing the waters here. I am in the process of fabbing a peice for the exaust system that would make your stock muffler sound like you have an aftermarket muffer on. This part would be made of stainless steel and would be a bolt-on product. I am still waiting for the first part to come in so I can install it on my box (should be in the next couple of days). The price I hope will be a quater (or less) of what you would pay for a TRD muffler. No it will not sound ricey! Will Keep you all posted.

So what, is this just a megaphone type tip to make the
muffler louder?

Will it look better then stock exhaust?

That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard. People try so hard to make an aftermarket exhaust quiet. This makes your stock muffler loud? Just take the muffler off if you want sound. That's free!

If you want the loud annoying sound of a performance muffler, you might as well experience the performance and gas mileage gains as well.

A loud stock muffler is beyond rice, it's just stupid! Sorry.

Not really stupid...It should increase Horsepower and give your ride that little bit of sound that you can only seem to get from a aftermarket muffler. We are having a dyno meet here next month and I will dyno it so that you all can make a fair desision from those results.

You can gut out the stock exhaust and put 2 1/4 piping. Know friends that did that to make it "sleeper" status. It will get more airflow.

I was able to get a new exhaust for $188 out the door from a muffler shop. They did it on the spot and this was a magnaflow exhaust resinator back. Sounds great very deep and it's not so loud that you need to beef up your sound system just to hear your music again.

I'd like to know more about how it works and what it does. . . but from the details you provide. . . it SOUNDS stupid, although it might not be. I know the OEM muffler that has some sort of bypass valve to open the muffler up under acceleration, but it closes when revs are low. . . or something like that. Maybe something that kept that valve open would do the job. Either way, like I said, we'd need more details to take you more seriously.
