I used to have a focus wagon before the xb, and I really wanted to do the 5.0 swap. All the hard work was already done, all I would have to do is buy the BOLT ON kit and a wrecked Mustang GT with an intact drivetrain. I even tried to keep it when I bought my xb, but couldn't get my payment low enough. Of course I had all kinds of people hatin, sayin why? just buy a mustang or even a hatchback focus, but come on whats the originality in that? For one, Im a DJ and I need the extra cargo room, for two, I like the extra utilitarian ability, and for three, the price of a compact wagon is alot less than a WRX wagon. If I had the money, I probably woulda bought one of those or even a Mazda 6 wagon. Even the tc, with way less cargo room, is more than a xb. So I say whatever "Frankenstein" creation you can think of, go for it. You'll be the only one and thats personality. Whether its a STI xb or even an xb with a prius drivetrain. It could be one of a kind, and to me, thats worth more than just havin another 11 second honda/mr2/mustang/neon/.... tc. j/k
