Another P0500 thread please give me your input
Ive searched and searched on different forums for people who mention to have similar sympthoms
this morning i replaced my right rear sidmarker light cuz it broke and i decided that i wanted to wash my car so i start my car everything is fine everything is functioning properly i throw it in reverse to park it on the other side of the drive way so i park it on the other side and the A/C stops blowing tach stop working clock isnt on the display my VSC light comes on TRAC is off CEL is on my windows dont roll down anymore and i cant throw it in gear with out using a flathead and VVT-I doesnt work and O/D isnt work either
i took it to autozone to get it scanned and i got P0500
but i dont think a speed sensor would affect my A/C or my windows
help please

Yes a P0500 code that trips a CEL will disable the AC, VVTI , make it difficult to drive ( not allowing you to put her in gear).
Sounds like while you were fixing the rear side marker you damaged the wheel speed sensor or it was damaged from what ever did in the side marker ( yes I know there is one on the engine and all 4 wheels) .
I would start with the corner that you fixed checking all wires and connections first. After that , try re-setting the ecu and the P0500 code and see if it returns.
Our cars are a lot smarter ( read in confusing) and will try to keep you from doing any more damage to them.
How did the side marker become damaged to need fixing/replacing in the first place ?
Good luck.

I doubt that I damaged the sensor since all I did was replace the side marker
and another car slighty pushed in my 1/4 panel and broke the marker light so I really don't believe it could of been caused by that
by the way my turnsignals aren't working either but the hazard lights work fine
