Well if it is Free take it. I have one on my car, but cant tell you how well it works yet because it is not back in my possesion yet. It is supposed to help control the movement of the engine, so it helps get more hp to the wheels. Oh yeah and it's free take it.

The damper is great, I makes the interior rattle sometimes at idle but its no problem. Good gains in daily driving from this mod.

Just an FYI....I've got the DC-Sports Carbon Steel strut bar and the Weapon-R engine damper uses a bracket that mounts to the passenger strut bolts. I started to install it when I did my headers, but the bracket will not mount up using the factory nuts because of the thickness of the strut bar and engine damper bracket. I haven't taken the time to find any, but in my case I need three new nuts when installing with my strut bar.

Also, yes you must unbolt one of the motor mounts and support the engine with a jack while installing the other bracker for the damper.

Thankyou.. Thats very good info, I was gonna get a DC sports strut bar. But now I will wait and rethink my idea until I can find a better way to mount it.

Just to make sure that I was clear, you can have either the DC Sports strut bar or the Weapon-R engine damper with no problems bolting either of them up. It's when you try to use these in conjunction with one another that you will need some different nuts. I'm fairly confident that three different nuts will solve the problem, but can't be 100% until I get some and give it a try....unless I decide to leave the damper off.

could you elaborate more about how to do this.... because i was told that you wouldnt have to support the engine or unbolt any motor mounts or anything like that.

do you have pics of which specific motor mount youre talking about?

Looks like you're getting the instructions emailed to you from the thread below. The instructions that the guy is emailing you will have all the info. regarding your question of supporting the motor in it.

There is some additional info on the fitment issue that I mentioned earlier also. Someone said that they had no problems with fitment of both the DC Sports strut bar and the MMW engine damper installed at the same time. They just had to remove the stock support spacer. Please see the thread below.
