I see that it's by arospeed, i thought "the bomb" refered to bomz racing muffler. It looks exactly the same and I had the bomz muffler first on the xB but it sucked. The silencer made it real quiet but there was a hissing sound cuz air was getting thru the sides. When you take the silencer off, i didn't feel any 5-9hp gain compared to the noticable feeling the intake gave, and the sound gets louder when you drive at 80mph, it never went away unless you pushed in the clutch/neutral. I replaced the muffler 2 weeks later with a Powertone, very nice.

I got the RS Type muffler (almost the same as the bomz) and I am experiencing everything you stated about it. I'll probably buy the greddy evo muffler since I like the way it sounds on other cars.

Don't be decieved when they say "TUNABLE". All that means is that it has a removable silencer. Not to mention that $195 for a muffler is a rip off well at least for a Aropseed one it is. I mean jeez I sell Tenzo R carbon fiber mufflers for $150. Anyway you won't see 5-9hp unless they are referring to at the flywheel hp (crank for auto).
