I am going to be rebuilding the C50 in my xB. I would like to replace the final gear set and the 5th gear set.
I know 5th gear from a Corolla can be swapped. But can the final drive set be swapped?

Are all the C5x transmission gears interchangeable?

I can't speak to the interchangeability, but I've come across a few things in recent months that may be useful to you. The first is a website for someone that appears to specialize in transmissions for the Lotus and MR2. It may be worth reaching out with questions.
