Anyone know how long before you have to change out or clean out the filter on a CAI. ive got a Injen Short Ram CAI, I put in last year around Oct. Being in So Cal, with the SMOG and Santa Anas blowing dust n crap in the air... Im not too sure as what to do...and I know im not the only one with CAI
Ive got the IS2100
Ive got the IS2100
Typical inspect and reoil is 6 months to a year (10-15k miles). Clean as needed- I'd do it once a year if the life expectancy is 20 washings (like K&N). I'm assuming the Injen had zero instructions like my Fujita. Fujita only hints that it can cleaned and reoiled but no instructions, interval, or cleaning kit.
