Well it has been about 4 years without talking on the radio,So I decided it was about time to bite the bullet and install a radio in the "B" the radio and antenna went fine no problems good match.
But when I throw the amp in line as soon as I key up It throws a code for Ignitioncoil #1 primary circuit fault would this be just RF overload or a sign of a coil going bad?
Or would the sudden voltage drop cause it?
Scott

you could always get a soft antenna or just a few wires and run them through your headliner around the edges like the stereo's antenna is routed so you don't have this huge tower on the top of your xB.
Stinger makes some nice alternators but you'll have to call them and do a custom order to your liking. there's also another option for an Iraggi alternator, this guy rebuilds the stock alternators to produce alot more power without sacrificing reliability *not like stinger's alternators are bad or anything but anyway...*. not sure if he's here on SL, but i'll PM his email to you if you want to go that route. he has two models for the xB, one that is 115amp idle and 180amp max for about $380 and another that is 130amp idle and 200amp max for about $400.
