Default Warranty syncro problems

Has anyone else here had any experienced 3rd gear syncro failure. I don't beat my xb at all and 3rd gear syncro is going out. I've taken it into the dealership for warranty work and they gave me some line about not finding anything out of specification. I do have 20" wheels on my car and am just wondering if it's gonna be a problem when I talk directly to Toyota about my bad experience. I wouldn't think it would be a problem since syncros are not a load bearing part of a transmission. Thanks.

Hmm yeah, mine seems real notchy as well.

I'm assuming you have the shift from 3rd to 2nd grind?

my 2nd gear syncro has been fuuuked since i bought it. i have 32k on the car and have complained since my 5k service. it's all been documented. its gotten so bad now that it is "rough" downshifting at more than 15mph. they tried to blame my clutchmaster, but that wasn't installed until i had 20k on the vehicle. last time i took it in, they said if they can't replicate the problem, they won't fix it. next time it goes in, they surely will be able to replicate it. start throwing around phrases such as "breach of warranty" "lemon" "law suit" even threathen to spray paint "toyota sucks" on your doors and "buy honda" and park the car outside of the dealership. I'm swapping my motor this weekend and am thinking about dropping the tranny at the dealership. this tranny is ____e and they will try to weasel out of warranty repair whether you're a bimbo or a tuner.

I just take mines to 3.5 grand before shifting, hold it for a second if taking off hard before shifting pausing in the nutral position and on wet or humid days, take off hard in 2nd to burn a few thousands of an inch of crap off my flywheel and pressure plate
