Default Coil Pack problem

Took my xb into the dealer with a blinking check engine light. Just got the estimate. Apparently two coils are bad - they will replace all four for $690.00. Does this sound like appropriate pricing? Thanks for any input.

I wouldn't do it. You should be able to find the parts yourself probably at a much better price. The coil packs are "plug and play" so you can just do it yourself. Just don't know if you'd have to have the dealer reset the check engine light.

do it yourself! theyre pnp and you just have to do the ones that are bad, not all 4! you should be able to get the parts from your local auto parts store! oh, if you dont already know which ones are bad, go to the parts store and get a free diagnostic test and replace the ones with random misfires!

Thanks for the replies. Sounds straight forward and if I could save some $ I'll tackle it myself.
