Up to the resonator, its pretty much 2 inch. After the resonator, its down to 1.75. Just change out the resonator, don't use a 14 inch glasspack, and finish it out w/ 2 or 2.25. I have 2.25 all of the way out and it flows nicely. It hs the sound I want and didn't cost an arm and a leg. Price wise, its just a few more dollars than most axlebacks.

so is it ok to go with headers, custom midpipe ( and s pipe?) and axle back? or the cat back is better?

For the tC, I would recomend a full on system. You might as well, since you are going to have the S-pipe and headers anyway. Finish it off with a full back system from the S-pipe.

I've got a few questions of my own. what does a Catlytic Convert actually do?

So far i've figured that resonators are strictly for sound purposes?

And also on piping, 2.25 for turbo and S/C, 2.00 for n/a (your everyday N/A)

And header back on 2.00 with aftermarket resonators and a cat will still not hamper the torque?

Thanks

not sure but i think with resonator and cat you will have less hp... not too much.. just -2-3...
almost nothing.

cat is only for "green" emission, i think.
