Default engine ok?

If an intake manifold and the injectors burnt on an engine with a little over 60k miles, will the rest of the engine be ok(turns fine) if I replace the burnt parts?

Absolutely. Fuel fire or any fire for that matter can't burn hot enough to effect your motor or internals. Hence the fire constantly going on inside to begin with. But I gotta ask... What hell are you talking about??!! What did you do???!!!

Default engine ok

It wasn't my car,but what happened I'm not sure. The lady was driving home from work and was almost home and the car stalled(thank GOD). She got out of car ,had noticed some smoke and the rest is history.Car had just expired the PLATINUM WARRANTY which meant to the Dealer 4 service every 5k miles! Car was pristine in and out!No one ever determined the cause.Parts are A plus that didn't get damaged, and paint like new!No dents ,etc.will list when I'm able to but I'm new on this site and not sure if I qualify yet (so many days a member, which I believe I'm well over? and so many posts or threads?)and I'm not sure how to do it either in the forum or classified?Would appreciate any feedback on that as I'm sure I have things people need. Thanks! Also thank you for the input on the condition of engine .You confirmed what a local mechanic and engine rebuilder believed.

I already know exactly what happened. Injector o-ring failed. It cracked or rolled or something and the fuel fumes leaked out, if not actual fuel. I've been in my friends new Monte Carlo when it burned to the ground right in front of my face on the side of the road because of one single old o-ring. Your lady is lucky.

And about the parts, yeah dude, it's quite obvisous you want to sell stuff. Look at your username. You need to be an active member of this forum not to just sell stuff, then you can sell stuff in the classifieds.

Not a member just to sell parts but was told by a member that this was a good sight for many things including letting people know that I may have things they need! Information and technical advice sharing on this site is great and is as important or more than selling parts. I originally put that in because I thought someone would already have my name without the ''parts ''ending ,which is just more to type anyway.Trying to figure out how to shorten name!

Yeah, not a smart username choice on your part. Very off-putting and people could careless what you have to say because your name is shady.

Because googling for a forum, then finding a forum, then figuring out how to sign up, then signing in to your personal email to confirm the signing up, then signing in to the forum, then figuring out how to post a new thread, then waiting for people to respond (in which case are usually response that are not in good taste, or have zero knowledge of what they are talking about), and just abandoning their thread all together is way way wayyyyy easier than googling.
