Actually... the JIC Magic is an axle-back... BIOTCH.
Per their own website...
"***Rear Tail Section Only"
I'm not going to post something as fact, if I don't know it to be true.
And I can tell you really easy how to show a 13 hp gain on a dyno by installing an axle-back.
1. Run your baseline test during the heat of the day with no fans in front of the car and the a/c running.
2. Run your product test in the cool of the morning with plenty of airflow in front of the car with the a/c off.
3. Overlay dyno run graphs.
4. Advertise peak gain at largest variance, rather than the difference in peak horsepower.
I could make it look like taking a leak on your air filter gave a performance gain if I really wanted to.

Here's my question. Since it makes more sense to ask this in a thread that's already started, I'm hunting for an exhaust but I'm timid. I know the box is a 4cyl and getting totally away from a rice sound might be impossible. However, I want to give the xB a bit more sound, just not "OMGRICE!" sound, ya know?
Anyone got any suggestions for that?
