I'm at a crossroads where I have to decide to stay simple and get the blitz supercharger, a header, and an exhaust. Or save some extra cash and attempt to swap in a 4AGE 20V.

If I do the engine swap I know of a list of things that need to be done, here is what I have and please post any additions I don't have.

1. Custom motor mounts
2. Custom intake and outtake manifolds (I'm guessing there won't be enough
clearance against the firewall and I want the manifolds made so the engine can be
turboed (if I'm gonna drop a lot of money might as well do it all at once right?))
3. Upgraded axles
4. Some kind of fuel management ( I have no idea if there is a standalone for this
engine, or if I should keep the original ecu and add a piggyback, is there a way to
preserve traction control?)

I know the engines can be found with the ecu and trannys for fairly cheap ($800 avg.), so these are just questions that have been puzzling me, as well as guessing how much it would cost. Can any of the forums gurus help me out with some answers?

 

If you're considering an engine swap... you bought the wrong vehicle, IMO.

 

I know that this vehicle is a pain when it comes to things like that, I'm just curious though about a 20v that can handle about 2 bar of boost in a 2400 lb. xB
