Default Can you post a pic?

I have been thinking of installing CAI. I have looked at the Volant Cool Air Intake. It seems that it would be very easy to install, and to access the filter.

What do you all think?

Thanks

You can feel a 3-4HP gain???

I might understand it sounds a little different... but I think the feeling is more of a placebo effect.

4whp from what the dyno shoot out says. Thats roughly 6% power gain over stock. You should be able to feel a 6% power gain. I don't know why people can't use their brains before they speak.

Anyway I agree that it should be the first thing people should do and then lowering their boxes.

eh, either way, i love my injen sr too. it's almost like a cAI, the pipe sits below the headlight, and a cai only goes a foot lower...closer to the dirt and ground.. just my opinon,

was this directed towards me? the volant does not get 4whp . if it does i'm mighty surprised considering it is all under hood in stock airbox location.
the injen is about 4.6 or something.

No the Injen does 4whp, not the Volant, check the sticky for more info.

I like my Injen CAI. IMO, It's not a matter of feeling 5hp, it is getting an increase in torque and HP across the entire RPM range. Why wouldn't you feel it if you are in touch with your car?

Hey Squirrel, let me know if you go to dyno, I'd love to test this CAI out for real.

You should check what people are talking about before making negative comments about them. . . they are talking about the Volant, not the Injen. And yes, you would feel a 6% gain. . . maybe you should edit your post.
