Its good being an Injen Distributer

 

Welp, I ain't got a damn thing to say bout dat... cept:

 

Anyone order from 9secondracing before? So far I am not impressed. I think I could have walked to Injen and back, installed it and still be waiting....

 

The Injen SR is still on my 'next' list.
Whenever I have the extra cash to get it, I'll get it.
No rush, it'll always be in stock...somewhere.

Installed it this morning...

Easy install... 2 things that were a little anoying about the install...

1. The 3 bolts at the bottom of the stock intake box... I didnt have a ratchet that fit in the box and the bolts were too tight for me to do with a regular socket driver... Eventually got them to break loose then it was cake...

2. Getting the clamp around the Hose from the PCV to the injen intake tube... Took a bit of force since the clip was a little too small for the larger diameter tube...


Great Sound, and a noticeable gain especially higher RPM's...

When I showed it to my girlfriend after it was installed she said "It looks Sexy"

So... Its a winner

last time i checked injen had a dyno pull for the short ram intake and it gained 7.1 horsepower on there website which is why i bought one 4 months before i bought my xb

 

You didn't mention anything about the sound!

I love the sound my Injen CAI makes when I get on the gas!

and the Injen SR can be a CAI aswell.. just remove the fog light cover and walla... instant CAI.... well not if you have fogs... but you know what i mean.

I absolutely love the Injen intakes. I've got the CAI on my xA. I was so sold on getting an AEM before, but when I was able to save $100 by going for the Injen CAI, my mind was made up. When I finished installing it, I realized the tube diameter is a lot larger than the AEM and the whole set-up just looks huge! I thought I wasn't going to be able to close my hood! Nice thing though is that it fills in the huge gap left over from removing the stock air box.

I dyno'd my xA at the Toyota/Lexus/Scion show in Virgina last Sunday. I'm not sure what a stock automatic xA is rated at, but when I dyno'ed with my automatic w/ Injen CAI, I got 86 HP with 95 Ft lbs of torque at 4500rpm.
