This would be hard for me to say. I installed the intake ( the one that sits behind the headlight:Injen ) as soon as i got the car home. 8 months and 14K miles later, and i love this lil box. I have an automatic tranny and love the power that i have. Granted, im not driving a Viper, but i have more then enough power to make me drive like this :D .

The sound, well, it makes a sucking sound in Park, but when you hit the pedal it makes a little growl. All in all, im very pleased with my set up, and wouldnt change a thing about it.

Install was quick and easy to. InJen did a great job wth teh instructions and pics to follow.

I've had the Injen short ram on my xB for well over a year now. There was some difference, not dramatic, and my mpg actually went up in some cases.

As far as the Blitz mesh cone intake/filter, a buddy of mine ran it on a dyno, and it lost power, compared to stock. PM Ken (NCP31), and he can give you all of the details.
