Default Installed Fujita SRI

So I spent some time today in 8 degree weather installing my short ram. I'm pretty thrilled by the results. Engine sounds more aggressive and the acceleration and idle seem smoother.
The biggest issue was trying to work the filter between the wiring looms and the headlight assembly. You also need to work the MAF cable a little bit to get it to mate to the MAF. It helped to unclip the loom. That allowed me to get an extra inch out of the MAF cable.
So far, so good, no CEL or anything. I'll get some pics up in a bit.

wow!! I wanted to install my Fujita SRI this morning. Walked outside, it was cold and the ground was covered in a layer of ice. Needless to say, I turned around and went back inside.

Props to you man for working thru the cold.

Congrats! I've had mine in for a few months. No problems, runs great. I especially like the extra power on the highway and more freely reving engine.

Thanks... I had a pretty big grin on my face the first time I floored it.

Yep. The hiss it makes when I shut off and puzzled looks of anyone nearby also makes me grin.

Glad you posted a photo so I could see your wiring. I was wondering if my xB had fog lights that were removed because of the unplugged connector. I guess they're factory. Seems like they should be capped. Oh well, can't have fogs with the intake anyway!

Yea, the box is prewired for the factory fogs.

I completely agree. I didn't know if it was ever going to fit. I actually unplugged the headlight to finesse it in there.

I don't have the fogs. I might fit, but it'd be so tight, you'd have a hell of a time making it fit.

I think most (if not all) SRI for the xB don't? The intake and/or filter is where the back of the fog light needs to be.

Fujita Short Ram fits just fine with fogs. We've had one installed on the wife's car with fog lights for over a year. No clearance issues.
