Default Intake Question

hi, im new here and i've done some searches on the forum and can't seem to find what im looking for...

i dont understand why anyone would buy the INJEN IS2105P over the INJEN IS2100P, what advantages are there??

Also, i was looking at the difference between the INJEN IS2100P vs the AEM 21-0567C and i was wondering with the AEM intake, the tube is angled down at where the filter is, will that equate to any performance difference at all?

Thanks.

all intake work the same. it just different sound for different intake. so doesn't matter which one you get. you won't feel any power gain just for the intake.

yes and no,most intakes are the same, however its the filter that makes the difference,as far as power gains, yes youll feel a small difference in the mid to high end power, nothing huge but youll feel it

Thanks for your input. At first i wanted the YDR intake because of all the great reviews and mostly because of the price, but ended up finding out that it is no longer being made.

Last night i was lucky enough to find this instead.

I will just order one and pick up a K&N filter at a local shop. Total price, intake + shipping + filter will cost me roughly 90 dollars. Not as cheap as YDR but close enough haha.

does anyone have any experience with ultrarev?

one of my friend said that, with the cheaper tube, the finish might not be as well done on the inside and that might cause some issues down the road.

what do you guys think?

I'd recommend the Fujita SR-3100 SRI because the vent hose connects behind the MAF. A little extra insurance against a CEL.

That ultrarev looks like the ebay intakes. I had one of those on the Neon I had before the xB, and it was crap. Sloppy welds and poor fitment, but honestly, what do you expect for that price?
