I have had my 2006 Thounder Cloud Xb since March 2006. I have been hovering around SL ever since. Purchased new. I remember when they first came out, I loved the RS1. Anyways, I purchased the car because I needed a gas sipper. I commute to work everyday and it is a 150 mile round trip. I typically travel anywher between 75 to 80 mph. My gas light would come on at around 250-260 miles, and I would always push with the light on for another 30 miles. Fill up with about 10.5 gallons, and head out again. Giving me an average MPG of around 27-28 give or take. I have put on 43,000 miles in the first year alone. Recently I went in for my every 300 miles oil change and tire rotation, and my air filter was due for a change. Instad of going with a standard filter I jumped on Ebay and got a cone filter. Not CAI, but rather a short ram filter.

Yes the car sounds great, and yes the butt dyno feels better, but more importantly, I can now get to 310 -320 miles before my low fuel light turns on. Considering I go 30 miles after that, when I fill up I put in 10.2 - 10.3 gallons. Giving me an average MPG of around 35 give or take!!!

For 20 bucks I'll take it. Has anyone else experienced this drastic inprovement in MPG??? And if you haven't already, I strongly suggest you get one.

You done good. My best milage comes at about 60mph. I installed the YDR short ram with cone shaped K & M filter.
