Default Knock Sensor swap..

Motor swap. I have an engine 08/06 manufacture date, knock sensor has shaft that sticks out of block and sensor bolts over shaft two wires.
I also have 05/05 manufacture date motor. I know that wiring harness changed in 12/05. So 05/05 knock sensor screwed into block with one wire.

Question is this:
On the 08/06 knock sensor does that shaft sending unit unscrew from block or press fit?, so I can screw in 05/05 sensor.

Toyota said need to use 05/05 wiring harness with 05/05 computer since they changed in 12/05,
I can not use 08/06 wiring harness as 05/05 computer does not read 08/06 wiring harness.

Putting 08/06 engine in 05/05 car.

Just looked on my block. You can unscrew it. A 5mm socket fits perfect on that end.

Sweet..Thanks. This helps. Thought it screwed out but not sure, didn't want to break something.
Now I can finish putting the 05/05 wiring harness on the 08/06 motor to talk to the original 05/05 car and computer.

Thanks again.
