Default "MAINT REQ'D"

I believe this indicator light comes on every 5,000 miles to remind us that it is time to change oil. I also remember reading SOMEWHERE on how to reset it (shut it off). But I can't for the life of me find it again in the manual or maint. log book. The log book does footnote saying "reset MAINT REQ'D" indicator. Any help out there on how-to or where-to find this info will be appreciated.

Lol, I just did this 2day after my oil change. Just make sure ur odometer is on the vehicle mileage and not any of the trip displays. Then with the car off hold the odometer button and turn the key into the "on" position. The display will show 5 - lines and countdown till the odometer shows all zeros, and that's it ur done.
