Default manifold leaks

My garage is telling me the manifold is leaking and a new one is stupid $$$$ from Toyota.
Is there an alternative?

yeah which one? exhaust or intake? regardless why do you have to buy it from toyota?

i don't see the obsession with everyone using oem parts. particularly not ones that last 90k miles which isn't long at all in my opinion. i realize most do last more than this though. i would rather spend half of what i would pay for an oem part on something aftermarket. not something too cheap, but something not overpriced either. it might not last as long as the oem, but it's still probably gonna last more than half as long so you get better value for your money.

Exhaust manifold is the issue and I can't find any complete exhaust systems or manifolds in the aftermarket.
Any help would be appreciated.

There are two stock ones on ebay for under $100. Or you can get an aftermarket header.

I also have a Stock Exhaust Manifold. I had used it for probably 10k miles if that. But id sell it cheap. The bolts suck to get to. If you dont have patience to do the work, it would just be better to send it out to a shop.

The bolts aren't hard to get to if you pull the wiper motor and metal cowl. This will mean removing the hood but it's not that difficult. You can also leave it in place but it makes things much tighter. Rust will be your biggest challenge, once everything is culled down hit it with PB Blaster and let it soak.
