I have been running this since last fall and have only had one problem with a needle bearing and PE replaced the SC for free. Patrick at PE has been very helpful with everything.

tc's weigh more than that.

I've been waivering back and forth between super charger and turbo. But, I've always been a turbo fan and recently have been leaning more toward turbo. But man......for $1200.......I would snag that kit in a minute.

yup~

Curb wieght of a tC is around 2950 while the xB is 2400. A difference of more than 500lbs.

wow ..i would have never thought the TC out weighed the XB....

Not to ____ on anyones fire here, but my car was slower with the K&N Typhoon than it was stock. It did a best of 16.7 on a GTECH stock, best of 17.2 on a GTECH w/ the K&N Typhoon.

The guy that drove the tC against the intake/exhaust xB must have been drunk. Theres no way an xB with bolt-ons will take a tC with even SEMI equally skilled drivers. I have a friend that ran his 100% STOCK tC 5 speed @ NY Raceway and did 15.55@89mph.

I love my xB, however. I believe in my own heart that it is a much better looking vehicle and I would not trade it for a tC EVER.

As far as my boosted xB vs a stock or bolt-on tC... They can try if they want, but they have not a chance :P

PE300

I got my PE300 from an individual. They put it on their xB for a week and their parents bought them a new Mitsubishi Lancer EVO. Thats how I got it so cheap.

Ok, so how about a 1/4 mile time. I ran a 16.26 in the 1/8 on stock tires, with just an injen short ram intake. I'd like to think spending 3 large on a super charger would reduce that time. Are you an automatic? With my 19's on I had crazy wheel hop and ran a 10.6. Stock tires hopped a little but I got a much better 60ft time. I haven't ran it in the 1/4 mile yet, waiting on a few more items before I go back to racing it.

if it's taking him 10 seconds to finish the 1/8 mile, the 0-60 time is probably high 8s or low 9s.

unless you're talking about 0-60 foot times, then I'd guess 2.3-2.6, but that's just a guess.

I can hang with trd exh manual tc's they beat me but i give them a good run , i can stay dead even with cat backed auto tc's. I only have bolt ons as of yet.
