I just purchased a 92,000 mile '05 xB. I won't be picking it up till the end of August, so haven't looked at the service recommendations yet. This is a one owner that had routine oil changes and has had a brake job.
What do I need to do as far as normal maintenance? Spark plugs, auto. trans. service, coolant systtem flush, etc.? We're going to be putting about 30,000 miles/ year on this xB, so it's going to be a high-miler and I want to take care of it.

For the most part this car fairly low maintenance. Since you're the second owner I would do the following just so you have the peace of mind that everything is up to par.

Once you pick up the car just do the following;
- Oil change w/ filter (I recommend a good synthetic oil)
- Check/Replace air filter
- Flush transmission fluid (Make sure you use OEM or equivalent)
- Replace spark plugs (I recommend NGK V-Power BKR5EYA)
- Flush brake fluid & inspect brakes
- Check/flush coolant (Again try to use OEM or equivalent)
