what do you mean by that?
will the psi racing manifold crack?

ok another question, i know a bit about turbos but not everything.

this talk about compression maps etc and how a T3 is too big for the 1.5?

say i was running 1Bar with the T3 on the 1.5 would this be fesable?

also why do you get more power running a T3 at 5psi than with a T25 running the same psi?

sorry to break it to you but cast iron manifolds they crack also... I've seen it done ... Its basically if the car isnt tuned right , then you'll create sooo much heat and you'll crack anything...
Now, other than going full standalone and re-wiring the whole car theres really nothing in the market that can help you guys remedy this problem... Even a Greddy Ultimate e-manage is just a band aid...

I know but think about it, theres a lot better of a chance in not worrying about this w/ a cast iron than a stainless steel

it wont POP if your runnin forged pistons and rods and a stand alone ECU.

are most tubular manifolds for turbos cast iron or steel?

ultimatly would running 1Bar make enough heat to cause the manifold to crack?

and why does a T3 make more power at the same pressure as a T25?

Most tubular manifolds are made out of steel... My manifold for my camry is made out of forge stainless...

The T3 will require less boost to make the same power than the T25 but will have more lag.

1bar will not cause a manifold to crack its your air/fuel mixtures. If your running too rich then your fine but reponsiveness will be affected. Running it lean will help out on repnsiveness but will affect power, created heat and possibly blow up your motor...

wraith, would i be right in saying that if you got 145hp @ 5psi with a 10.5:1 CR if you lowered the compression ratio you would make more power at the same pressure?

because lower compression means more room for more air+ fuel ???

yea...typically you wanna lower compression for boosted apps.
