thanks the whole setup was 499.50 you can get the same without jacken just dont get the carbon muffler like me. lol i mewan this was really inexpansive for what was goin on. usaully people spend close to that much on an axle back with piping half the size of mine. you should really go talk to john and the guess at HPR customs all their prices are extremly low.
Sweet. I might have to do that tomorrow with my day off if they're open. Hopefully since it's not the holiday they will be. Where exactly is it again?

yeah they should be open they will do the exhaust on the spot if u want them to. they are in glen burnie, MD
heres their info
HP Racing Inc.

i really suggest geting the high flow cat too because then the replace a little bit more than half of the down pipe that goe from the headers to the cat with much larger piping.

someone inspecting the system won't know if the cat is high flow or not just by looking at it... you'd need to cut it open to see the difference.

Alright, I made an appointment with Joe on Wednesday...got down there a little too late to actually squeeze it in today. I'm going down Wednesday at 6:00 and they said they'd get it in right then since I had to travel from Hagerstown all the way down there, so they were very sympathetic about my drive time. They're just doing a cat-back though. Don't have the money for everything else yet. $299 is what they're charging, which is what was said on their site. I can't wait!

IT means your Rice-a-roni A$$ exhaust sounds like $hit imo

========================================
********REVISED STATEMENT AHEAD*********

It just sounds a little like a truck and i guess it is considered a truck
enough that volant made an itake for it ( Air intake produced for trucks only)
but it is somewhat out of my favor but if you like it more power too you always
up for a good mod.

Cool man. Well, your opinion is acceptable, I suppose. But my opinion is that your opinion sucks, and more than likely, my opinion will probably be better observed, so there ya go.

TRDXA, I'm getting one of the mufflers they give you with the system. But don't worry, I didn't get the carbon fiber one. :D

I'm also not a fan of it. IMO, the piping is a little too big for a 1.5 na engine putting out just over 100hp.

But it doesn't matter what I like. It's your car. And I'm sure it sounds better in person.

ps.. be careful about switching catalytic convertors. The one you put on has to be on a list of approved cats. (esp. in MD)

The thing is I really want a straight cut muffler, and the only ones that are straight cut are the carbon fiber ones. I'm really not a fan of angle cut...can't put my finger on why, but I'm just not. So I might have to...I'd just hate for someone, anyone really, to think I'm just jacking what other people got.

By the way, do you know if the $299 cost for the exhaust includes a resonator?

trdxa i am not one to "hate" on others vehicles I do feel that the sound is just not backed by any beef and is more of a sound you hear on these ghetto a$$ trucks with cutoffs that we got down here. I did go a little far as to my commenting but I retract my previous statment with the sincerest of apologies. You do have to apreciate the sound inside the cabin and my hats of to you for having a custom exhaust which I will hopefully have soon enough, and when i post my Vids up i hope you can appreciate them too.
