Default NITROUS EXPRESS (NX) SYSTEM

DOES ANYONE HAVE A NX SYSTEM IN THEIR SCION? IF SO, HOW DOES IT PERFORM?

How are you spraying it? Through direct port or intake or what? Id like to know how everybody that has these systems are doing them.

it is drilled into my intake. it is a dry shot. The kit is a Sneeky Pete kit. 10oz bottle that I have mounted to the jack cover under my seat. my switch and button are in my dash just below the cubby.

So how does that extra 30hp feel when you hit that button? Are you running a turbo or Sc? Got any upgrades in fuel managment or anything?

Awsome! This is the way they should come from the showroom, with turn signals as options. Will that green wipe off the seat?

its just a gentle increase in speed. nothing like throwing you into the seat. thinking about stepping up to a 50 shot, but would like to go turbo instead. as for fuel I have an apexi s-afc but havent had a need to add any fuel with such a small shot.

Here's an honest question for you. Is the gentle increase in speed, worth the money you spent on it? Are you gonna still run the 30 shot if you get a turbo?

I think if you pick the kit up for $200 like you can on ebay then yes I do say it is worth it. I mean gentle by its no big kick in the butt, but you do feel the pedal drop under your foot. I will probably still run the 30 shot if I go turbo.

Thanks for the great info, its nice to talk to someone who has it already, instead of people just speculating on things.

How often do you use it? and is there any possible damage from this if you went about 60 shot but not more??

talk to VietBox. He is running a Blits supercharger with a camcon controller and a Zex wet nitrous system with a 30 shot. He loves the setup and ran a 14.2 at the track last weekend...

I dont use it that often. maybe once a month when I get the feeling to. When I first installed it, it was used alot more probably a couple times a week. havent had any problems come from it at all. and I installed it on my car at I think 500 miles.

I'd go wet shot just for sake of not having to set up a fuel system for the nitrous. That way when spraying, fuel + nitrous will be added together with the correct ammount needed to compensate for one another. I ran it on my previous car and worked great. Though if i thought about it for the xa, i'd have to say, i'd run a wet kit with a pedal switch ( meaning, after turning the system on, it only sprays when the pedal is at full throttle ) And probably nothing more then a 50 shot as the very most unless building the motor up to handle more.

well then the kit your talking about is a kit like the zex set up. but for the overall fuel ratio on the xb it is slightly rich so with a shot such as mine at 30 hp it will not lean out the fuel ratio enough to do any damage. just my thought though. but yes a wet kit is the safest way.
