Default NOS for xA

I was thinking about getting the 35-hp wet NX kit for my xA...

I was curious about the possible effects on engine longevity as well as if the stock clutch is up to the task of near-daily usage.

Forget the stock clutch -- half the engine is made of aluminum! You're likely to blow your engine up in the process. But don't let that stop you ;) let us know if you actually go for it!

I have been running a 50 shot NX wet kit that STRICT FAB put in. My xa is an everyday driver. It has been in the car since june of 2004. I have run through 8 bottle refills with a 15lb bottle. My motor is perfect. Never had one problem with my xa ever.

Now I have had the TRD clutch since day one. Your clutch should never be a big issue since you should never spray your XA or XB until your vvt-i kicks in at 3100 rpms and you are at full throttle. Follow those two simple rules and you will be in gear already (no massive strain on your clutch) and you will spray the motor in its powerband (no massive strain on the motor).

Check out my profile, I have some pics of the nos in car.

FYI- get a clutch. Expensive but one of the top 3 mods I have done.

i have a 30 hp wet shot, its not bad, i dont have a clutch yet, but it does tend to want to slip in the lower gears. my advice, get a clutch, i didnt cuse the nitrous kit was a present from my folks and little brother for x-mas. btw, a Zex kit is awsome, i wish they would have given me that kit, ive put that on a couple of cars and its really easy to install and is a really good kit.

if your also worried about stuff get a rpm switch, so that the nitrous only comes on at certin rpms and shuts off at a specified rpm.

i havnt had any engine probles, i dont spray much, just enough to have some fun, i have run a 50hp shot a couple of times, but that one does scare me so i dont do it much
