WOOHOO!!! I'm excited!
Unfortunately for me, I'm at the mercy of USPS, who thought it was a good idea to route my shipment through Albuquerque, NM even though the origin and destination of the shipment are both Houston, TX.

"Your item was processed through and left our ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87101 facility on August 30, 2009. The item is currently in transit to the destination. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."
Detailed Results:

Processed through Sort Facility, August 30, 2009, 9:29 pm, ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87101
Processed through Sort Facility, August 28, 2009, 7:37 pm, HOUSTON, TX 77201

That nick/notch is for timing alignment. I have the same too.

They are in (CR and Alt pulley). Definitely a beast to work with that damn cable... but the throttle response is much improved. I'll get pics posted shortly.

Edit... picture time!

From out of the box:

To, it's still on the box:

Alternator time:

Last up... it's on the box.

The difference is definitely noticeable on the throttle, even with a fail-o-ma... er automatic tranny.

im having issues with my pulley.
NST or anyone that can answer my questions, it would most appreciated.
i went to get the crank pulley professionally installed today and there was a big problem.
the mechanic installed it just fine but when he turned the engine on, there was an extreme amount of noise coming from the pulley, like metal on metal.
he immediately turned it off and took the pulley off.
the side that faces the crank, around the inner circle was all scraped.
he asked me if there was any sort of spacer that came with the pulley cause it was rubbing up against the crank case or is it the timing belt case?
i personally placed (not bolted) the NST pulley on the crank and sure enough it is rubbing up against the surrounding metal case.
mechanic measured the depth of the center of the pulley and the stock pulley and the NST pulley was shorter by about a 1/4 inch.
has anyone had this problem?
NST, any suggestions?

I also ran into a similar problem. I actually ran mine for a very short bit of time to see if the noise was just related to belt chatter (I also replaced my power steering belt during this install). I also noticed that the power steering belt quickly worked its way off the pulley. I thought perhaps that the new belt was just a bit snug and wasn't working its way into the grooves as it should. I took the pulley back off, as well as the belts. The new power steering belt doesn't fit very well into the power steering pulley, nor did the OEM belt that I removed during the initial installation. When I took a close look at the new pulley, I noticed that there was obviously some serious contact being made against the timing cover beneath the crank pulley. I replaced everything back to stock and both my noise issue and the power steering belt alignment issue were gone. I took a few photos before and after that may help in identifying the source of the problems.

Notice the difference between the inner edges of the stock and NST pulleys. The stock pulley is beveled inward on this edge, most likely to avoid making contact with the timing cover. The NST pulley is not.

This photo shows the obvious point of contact on the NST pulley.
Mike @ NST, I would be more than happy to bring my pulley up to your shop some time early next week so you can take a closer look. I also have my OEM PS belt which I can bring so you can see what may be the source of the belt alignment issue. The belt just doesn't quite fit into the track on the pulley and slowly works its way out.
If you'd like me to bring these two to you, please let me know. I'll help any way I can.

UV7, the damage on your after photo is the same as mine.
I went back to the stock pulley as well.
If NST comes up with a solution please let me know.

Hey guys, I'm glad to hear that you have received your pulleys, and I'm honestly a bit puzzled to hear/see that some of you are having problems with the installation while others seem to be doing just fine.

I am viewing the forums and posting this message from New Jersey right now! We have been here for the past few days for round 4 of the D1GP USA Pro Drift series. Some of you may know that we run the NST AE86 in the series. I will be back at the office (In Houston) on Thursday...

UV7, please give me a call Thu and stop by if you can. I would be happy to take a look at your pulley and see if there is any modification that we need to make. Anyone else who may be concerned or worried should hold off on the install and CALL ME on THURSDAY so that we can get a "return-for-inspection" authorized for you. We would be happy to take a look at each pulley and make any necessary modifications.

Thanks again everyone!

Mike, I will do just that! I can swing by your shop on Thursday, around lunchtime, if that is convenient for you. Thanks for taking time out to respond.
Good luck at the D1GP event!
