Well, here we are again getting very close to the payment deadline. So how many do we have so far? It still looks like we've only got a handful of the 16 or so that originally committed.
Any updates?

Well, it's now 4/23 and the deadline has passed.
Did we get any closer or are we still stuck at the 9 or so people who paid?

Come on, guys. NST has a business to run and may not have the extra free time to be browsing ScionLife on a daily basis. I know for a fact that these guys are very dedicated to supporting the import and drift scenes, as they are out in full force at just about every event in the Southeast Texas area.
They've offered 1st gen xB owners a Group Buy opportunity to "feel out" the potential for a product line. Several people took advantage of the opportunity, but only a handful chose to make good on their obligation involved with the Group Buy. NST chose to give the potential buyers involved in the Group Buy the benefit of the doubt and extended the deadline by a few weeks. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like all the buyers have followed through.
My guess is that the Group Buy is a no-go. I am sure we will hear a firm answer from NST shortly, and those of us who contributed will either be refunded our payment or have it applied to the purchase at full price.
From a business perspective, hanging around in a forum full of individuals who have proven themselves NOT to be a likely customer is a waste of time. I am sure they will spend their time among an audience with a proven purchase potential.

UV7, I don't disagree with any of that, but I think that the $100 of mine that they currently possess has at least purchased me the right to comment on the tardiness of their response to this group buy, regardless of its outcome. A prompt response to paying customers is not too much to ask for.

I called and left a voicemail regarding the 1st gen GB. Hopefully, it will get some attention.
I may swing by their shop this week if we haven't heard anything.

Thank you sir. You have hit the nail on the head on all of your points there.

Whats going on here? Updates are always shown as necessary.

As listed on our website, and as listed in our blog section, we were in Anaheim California for the past week or so at the D1GP USA. We participate in this series... www.d1gp.com. Unfortunately this means business as usual is slowed a tad bit.

As I stated on page 1, we need all payments to come through before we can move along with production. The sooner the payments come in, the sooner we can begin. All -PAID- tags are also updated on page 1 of this thread, and the current list reflects all the payments. Unfortunately a large number of people have committed, yet very few have actually followed through on those commitments.

If you forget to include all the necessary info, you need to contact us and provide all the necessary info so that we can include you. Some of you forget to include the necessary info and then send incomplete messages which are very very unclear. It is your responsibility to provide sufficient information with your order so that I can mark you as paid. Not very difficult ladies and gentlemen.

No one is here to steal from you, and I take such accusations very insulting and hard to accept.

This is a GB and requires proper cooperation from all sides involved. Much of the role is played by you, the community. We are here to offer you a great product, but you need to do your parts as well.

As stated on page 1, this process will take a long time, and I will not have updates for you each and every day, but I am here and very easy to find. Please take that into consideration before jumping to conclusions and spreading bad information.

Anyone who is unhappy can have their order canceled, and a full refund issued. Otherwise, those who want to join the list, make payments, wait for others to make payments, and wait patiently for production to continue, can do so.

I find the negative and unnecessary comments very hurtful.

As it stands, we have very few people on our paid list...
This leads us to two options...

1. Cancel the GB and issue full refunds (which I have NO PROBLEM doing immediately)
2. Allow members more time to pay and make the GB possible.

We will make a decision on this within the next 24hrs. It is not looking good right now.

From page one of this thread...

1. teabox (gold) -PAID-
2. burstaneurysm
3. Ely (crank + alternator) (green) -PAID-
4. JorG
5. OttoMoto
6. Doulish (blue) -PAID-
7. Nick
8. EAmon
9. PETERY2KRABBIT (blue) -PAID-
10. UV7 (blue) -PAID-
11. Malaclypse (blue) -PAID-
12. Grant314 (black) -PAID-
13. Cantuski
14. boxman27
15. budha53
16. spr0k3t (red) -PAID-

Many thanks to those who have followed through with their commitments and have been patient while we have been waiting for those who are sitting on the sidelines.
