The DC Sports header is a 50 state legal unit.

tell him to read a little more...in case all mufflers are legeal but the sound of the muffler may not be legal....it does not say that when we purchace a header muffler etc taht it has to be a oem part.....cuzz then everything pep boys or kragens sells would be illegal...

Actually i believe the dc is'nt carb approved either. it's actually a 4-1 race header and all dc "race" products arent carb legal , I may be wrong but I've never seen a carb sticker for a scion DC sports header. Adapt the ugly heat sheild to fir over the header and most smog guys wouldnt know the difference. that or go to a lax place , most independently run shops don't trip as long as it passes tailpipe. Or worst case find someone that illegally passes cars.
