Funny, how many of you guys/gals actually tried one of them?
Before you batter the guy you should read up on the posts by twiddler, 124 hp n/a.
If you read it, it states near the end that it did work, for a little while, just about as long as the cam-con and a few others. We have cars that have a very smart ecu. Sometimes I think smarter than most people that give fellow SLer's a hard time.
Show some love and try to explain the whole story before reaming a newby ok?
It only scares em away.

Already got some. Synthetic too!
$24.95 for 6 quarts. Made by Castrol in Germany.
You even know what VVT-i is? You know what fluid it uses? If not read the manual, if you can.
Mods should lock this so it doesn't get out of hand.

Actually folks, someone has tried it and it works almost like the expensive brands, ( you all know the name but because it is cheaper you think they work differently, they don't) for just a little while. the ecu returns to default after awhile.
The way it works in a nut shell is..........
Makes your car think the in coming air is cooler than it is, like at start up. If you know anything about ignition systems you will also know that it advances the timing, just like it is at startup.
it doesn't do anything you car isn't ment to do. You will use a little more gas ( approx 1 to 2 mpg) but that is what you would use if you were driving it cold. IF YOU USE THE PROPER RESISTOR, thats where most folks make their mistake.
I ran a 3 week test, and yes I know what I am doing with this stuff. Didn't hurt my car in the least. Just make sure if you want to try it, hook it up the right way.
Someone needed to test one so I volounteered my services, maybe this thread will now die.
