I had problems loosening the bolt for the pulley anfd gave up. Now its a carpet decoration in my room. If you loosen the alternator does that relieve tension and make the bolt easier to remove?

no you should do the Alt after the bolt. breaker bar, and a screw driver , to hold the pulley in place the bolt is like 3-4 inches long and has locktight all over it.

sooooo what if engine mod wise all i want to do is CAI, header, and exhaust? does this mean i'd have to get a new fuel rail? I'm not adding nitrous or turbocharging it or anything so adding one would be pointless, right?

yea it would be pretty lame. But if you were to do turbo in the future it would be a nice step.

Keep in mine this is just a first step in tapping more performance from a certain motor, the larger fuel rail will allow you to add larger injectors for more performance . . . do you have to? no, but like in any circle some people push the envelope and some dont, and thats ok either way. It's whatever your into. The info provided here is just so everyone can be on the same learning curve. we know how to move from a 200cc injector to a 250cc with this rail and factory parts kinda cool if you think about it, this all from sharing info with each other here on the forums.

and why would you cut anything this is a performance upgrade not a bling

I am running the rail w/ upgraded 2zz injectors for the turbo setup...the rail is pointless unless you upgrade the injectors, or as clear bra guy said to add nitrous to the setup. I have my fuel pressure regulator running off the end of my rail.

If one does not plan on adding more than an intake, header and exhaust, then an upgraded fuel rail is pointless.

No, it cannot be seen unless you remove your engine cover for shows.

BUT, if you plan on adding forced injection, whether it be thru a turbo, or supercharger application, then it is highly recommended along with higher flowing injectors.

One route for the injectors are the 2ZZ which bolt right in. I'm looking at another set, but the head needs slight machining. I may run one powerplant w/ the 2ZZ injectors and run w/ this other manufacturer.

There are a few other items that you may want to consider w/ the fuel delivery system, but I won't go into it here.

This is mainly a discussion about the fuel rail.
