I'm interested in getting more power, too. I don't want a loud ricey sound. Would I get a decent power boost with the header and intake only? With this setup will the stock muffler keep the noise down(not raspy)?

You will see a gain, but not as much as if you did the full i/h/e combo. Your stock exhaust will be somewhat of a bottle neck. (Not that you wouldn't still be bottlenecked with the stock down pipe, cat and exhaust before the axle.) Your best bet would be to look for a already quiet exhaust that is also available with a silencer.

Default well

I just looked up this up on ebay and here are my results:

Shortram Intake - $50
Lightweight pully - 100
4-2-1 headers - 140
Full Exhaust - 318

Total: 608

So i would save the extra 108 and just do everything at once... Might want a better filter for your intake as those cheap ones are always the best but still better than the stock for sure!

If you can keep a tight leash on your "lead foot" these modifications can actually help with fuel efficiency. As long as your driving habits do not change, chances are you will see a mileage increase.

Do not Underdrive. The potential for problems is more trouble than it is worth. Stay away from the Unorthodox and Non-Stop Tuning pulleys. You'll be much better off with a lightened pulley from Perrin, Agency Power or ZPI.

The stock header looks pretty good... has anyone seen any HP TQ gains from an after market one?

From what i've heard, you'll get the most gains from the header in the I/H/E combo.
