Default Rough Gas Pedal Feel

Lately my gas pedal has been feeling more and more rough

its a 5spd with 2200 miles

anything over 3500rpm feels really rough, though in my friends AUTO it feels smooth as butter. at about 70 + mph is when it feels rough. I know the auto revs lower but at the same rpm it feels very different

Its also have a semi weak start some mornings (its been cold but not that cold, 40's and 50's) meaning it will turn on but it will take a little longer and once its on it sounds as if it wants to slightly die then its ok

any clues
I will take it to the dealer but I want to have an idea what to look at

Thanks

Just an idea, have you checked your plugs ? some people have reported that their plugs were out of spec from the beginning, maybe yours have just worn enough to cause the problem?

In the following thread last month you said you had a 2006 with 46,354 miles, with pedal problems, and you said "am also adjusting everything on my car, throttle cable slack, brake pedal..."
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=clutch+pedal

Then you had a thread on a brake pedal problem:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=clutch+pedal

And a thread on a clutch pedal problem:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=clutch+pedal

Now this thread is about a gas pedal problem with a 2006 that has only 2,200 miles. It sounds like you might have gotten a new car to get away from pedal problems, but did not escape them.
