Default Rough Shifts

Once in a while when im shifting it feels a little rough getting it into second gear almost like something is preventing me from getting into gear. has anyone else had this problem?? i was also thinking it might be a syncro goind but i really dont wanna think about having a syncro go when i only have 41k on the odometer .

Mines always been a little rough. I read a post from someone else a long time ago saying they hated theirs because of the rough shifting.

I shift slowly, with my fingertips, hanging my hand down over the Zeta Gen2 armrest, pausing slightly in the space between gears. The shifter glides smoothly into the next gear with a nice feel.

Two years ago I installed a TRD quick shifter with a big ****. I wrapped my fist around the **** and got some good leverage for cramming into gears. Horrible feeling, not to mention what it was doing to the transmission, so I took it off after a day.

its not always rough and it just happened for the first time about a week ago. the rought shift is very intermittent. in an hour drive it might happen 2-3 times.

Yes I have the same problem, it feels like randomly you have to rip it in and out of gear. Transmission is a piece of crap.

it is not a bushing problem. if you searched the forum then you would realize that there are many people with this "problem" and not one of them states that they have changed the bushings, or even checked them. Your shifter would feel wobbly if you had a bushing problem. our trannys are made with brass and "plastic" you have to lubricate these parts as much as possible. the problem will then go away.

well.. don't take offense to this-but I see that you have spent 4 days looking at the post and still don't have any answers, correct? I think you could search the entire site of SL and come up with at least something you are looking for-regardless of page numbers. Just narrow your search as much as possible.

Also, your status is not that developed as a member. I wouldn't go bashing SL by saying that the search "Sucks". 100% user error in this case. Let me know if you have any search questions though, I will try to help you as much as possible! I usually get my results to <2 pages.

I usually have the same problem with the search, it's not too precise.

just because my "status" is not that "developed" doesnt mean anything. it is only status. ive been on this forum since ive owned my car(3 Years). i dont think anyone has the right to say anything about my "status" especially someone with close to the same amount of posts as myself.
