Default Single coil or individual coil

The 1nz engine does it use a individual coil setup on each cylinder or is a single coil for all 4 cylinders????

I'm confident to say that it's a coil per cylinder

Wonderful we even have a knock control sensor....that will help alot of people out when they are tearing into the motor and they over do things....or let it get to hot.....or not change the oil

the 1nz-fe ignition system is a DIS system were dis stands foe Distributerless Ignition System wich therfore would mean you need a computer controlled seperate coil for each of the four cylinders.

Theres not likely any benefit from an aftermarket ignition setup if the engine already has a coil on plug setup. We already have 'the good stuff'.

Vettes, WRXs and STIs all make freaking huge power with the same setup.

Agreed, until you have honestly exceeded your stock ignition system, there really is no need to upgrade it yet. As it is, the factory DIS is pretty well-designed imo.
