Spark plug gap specs........

Manual for the xA says .031 but denso site says .044. I'm installing the iridiums.

So which spec to go with?

Anyone wanna chime in with some help?

I'm no expert, but I'd go w/ whatever the manufacturer says. I use the OEM NGKs and gap at 0.031.

I also use denso iridium but I didn't regap. It works just fine. Don't forget to apply conductive gease around the plug's thread otherwise the iridium is useless.

hi kong, dunno much bout spark plug here, anyway , y u need to apply the conductive greeve around it? enlight me :D

If you have aluminum heads you need an antiseize lubricant compatible with aluminum on the spark plug threads. I never put a spark plug into my outboards without it.
