Default Strup exhaust?

Is the Strup exhaust worth the price? I was told that they are coming out with one for the xA in the next month. Just wanted some opinions on it. I am planning on putting on a header in the future and I am worried about rasp. I would have bought the precision muffler but it is only offered for the xB at this time. Let me know what you all think.

Sorry if this has been posted many other times but cannot find a real conclusion on this exhaust.

The Strup is a good exhaust if you are willing to pay the aftermarket price for a stainless, mandrel bent, bolt on "axle-back" system.

I would recommend Strup if you want a fairly loud, low, deep tone.

If you want something quieter I would recommend the Tanabe exhaust for the xA.

If having a mandrel bent, stainless steel, bolt on exhaust isn't important to you have a local exhaust shop bend you up something. You can save quite a bit of money and have and exhaust built to meet your needs.

yeah ive got strup and love it, it is a slightly bit loud exhaust..more so mixed with the header..but i love it

the borla i had before had a nice sound as well, not as loud but a very nice hum to it...the strup is a little more of a meaner growl

When I get the xA, I was either going to modify a v2 Strup for the xB, or hope that the xA version will be released shortly. Hmm, maybe I need to call someone who knows Charlie and drop a bug in his ear.

You could just call or email Charlie yourself as well, Charlie is a great person to work with!

I met him once, but I know someone who talks to him regularly.

I just bought the Strup universal muffler on my xA

I think it sounds pretty similar to the xBs axle-back. The mufflers for both have nearly the same size and dimensions

I spoke to Charlie yesterday and he said exhaust for the xA and the tC should be out by the end of Feb.

Hopefully!

Just got the Strup. It's loud and I'll prolly go deaf, but that's why I love it.

So is the Strup exhaust too loud?

I want something that is noticeable but won't give me a headache on road trips. Is the strup the right exhaust or should I get something else?

I have taken many roadtrips with mine and never had a problem. There is a bit of a drone, but you get used to it fairly quick.

I think most aftermarket pipes will have some drone.

I hope I can get the Strup this year to go with the header.
