I drove it a lot since and I LOVE it... the tone is really deep and aggressive and it is a lot quiter. I really can get a feel for my engine a lot more, hard to explain.
My buddies said my car feels a lot smoother to them. For all you xA's out there, Get this muffler... its awesome.
Woohoo! I knew I wasn't crazy. Glad your happy with it!
The silencer is a pain in the posterior to get out. Use an allen wrench on the little screw at the bottom. The silencer is super-duper tight in there, and I am not the smartest/mechanically inclined/patient person in the world, so I just used pliers and used a twisting motion to get it out. Prolly not the best way because I scratched up the inside of the muffler tip. If anybody knows a better way, let us know

Thats exactly how mine came out. I painted it with hi-temp black paint. Looks a lot better now when it is installed. You can adjust the silencer to a little louder by unscrewing the two screws and turning the plate to open the holes.

Mine has gotten quieter everyday so far so that makes me much happier with the muffler. Not as quiet as stock though so still hoping it will keep quieting down. Charlie at Strup also said there is a breakin period but didn't say how long that was. Almost been a week on my car.

Charlie (i think) from Strup told me its a 4mm allen wrench to loosen the tunable silencer. Hope this helps.
