Default swapping engines to an xB

just curious which engines would fit the xB chassis.

i was thinking of the celica, corolla-s and the mr-2 motors, is it possible?

thanks again!

Your only option is a 1UZ-FE behind the front seats.

i have a 350 SB Chevy in mine. bored out and running 424 hp to the wheels. its mounted right behind the two front seats . its also converted to RWD and has nitrous for a little extra juice

okay so i lied. please do a search. multiple threads have been discussed about this. hotbox05 put it all best though. he basically summed it all up. please just do a search next time and you'll get better reponses and find Scionlife to be more friendly

i had toyed with the 13b idea
then i remembered i bought this thing to get 30mpg

seriously, the chassis is gonna need a lot of work to support a heavier or more powerful engine
tranny needs to be replaced
axles need to be magically created
hubs would need beefing up (again-magic)

i would rather spend the money on converting it to AWD

can someone lock this up...how many threads need to be started w/ this...please use the search feature...it is very helpful...just make sure to select the category you want to search through (in this case power hungry(xA/xB)) so you get a more refined search. Not tryin to be an *ss but i think someone starts a thread up about this once every 2 days and everyone always gets the same responses...thank you Hotbox for answering the question...no further responses needed as there is a million threads on this still open for discussion...unless Tee Cee wants to donate his motor to me and I will try and make it work

i knew i'm going to get it and i knew i should've used the search function.

i'm just too lazy to use it and decided to use the site's bandwidth and you guys to answer a question that has been answered a million times.

i'm just kidding. my bad. any mod can lock this thread now.

again my apologies.

Every time I use the search, it lists all the posts in that particular search. Then when I click on one and see that it's not what I'm looking for, I hit the back button...Then it says "Page expired" And I have to start all over. Why is it SOO important to use the USELESS search? It doesn't hurt anyone. Why are you reading it just to yell at someone for not using the search? As far as bandwidth being used? How about the "post pics of your girlfriend" or "What do you prefere..Blimpie, Quiznos, or Subway?" And you flaming someone doesn't help with the bandwidth either (along with the novel you just wrote). So don't give us the old bandwidth excuse. So he didn't use the search....Guess what? I did and have not found ONE thing I have been looking for by doing so.

I dunno....not tryin to start a war or anything...not complaining about wasted bandwith cause I could care less about that and never mentioned anything about that in my previous post...it just gets really annoying when on the first page of the power hungry forum you can find like 3 seperate threads about this. Also, everytime I use the search feature it works fine for me...actually pretty much works every time. A lot of people dont really know how to use the search feature. So instead of "Wasting Bandwith", if you need some help on how to use the search feature send me a PM and I will be more than glad to help ya out

Well, some others have said that it's wasting bandwidth. I can't use the search properly because of either my pop-up blocker or anti-virus or whatever. I usually look through the posts a few pages BEFORE posting a new question and if it's a repost, oh well, I had no idea. It's just getting to the point on here that there are people that answer the question, and people who complain about it being answered 1000 times. I am not trying to start a war either....just that I am new here too and I don't want to be flamed for something sort of out of my control. If it's a repost, you ARE NOT obligated to reply, you know? Just go to the next post. And yes....someone lock this thread up
