Top Fuel intake
What gives with this company? I know of them and they make some kicka$$ Honda parts. They also have a couple things for the xA and B. So., I thought I would look into getting the intake form them. Too bad they won't return my messages. I would like some numbers like price and build quality, performance, replacement parts, etc. I don't feel like doing the Injen, Greddy and other usual stuff. Otherwise I have also been looking into the Blitz intake as well. Where can I find better info other that the website that barely has any info? Also, I have heard of the MAF burning out too quickly with the new intakes. What's the fix?
The reason why Top Fuel hasn't released their intake in the US is because their plumbing on the intake interferes with the Brake Master Cylinder on the USDM xB. I Test fitted this intake onto my xB, Had to send it back...
Why get all gushy over a company whose product is vaporware and won't respond to inquiries?
Maybe that sounds a little harsh. If it does, I apologize.
The reason that MAF sensors "burn out" with some of the aftermarket intakes is that the crankcase breather is improperly positioned ahead of the sensor, contaminating it. Of the popular aftermarket intakes, only the loop-ti-loop models and the Fujita short ram put the breather in the right place... the fix is to put a filter or oil catch tank in the breather line... or buy a properly engineered product in the first place.
