Default Trusting Ebay

obviously buying from toytoa/scion for your mods is expensive, and most likely rediculously more expensive than it should be. Is there any real value to what people sell on ebay or is it all trash? Is it safe to put on a fairly new car (19k, its new to me lol). and most important of all, does it void the warranty if you put parts on yourself or parts that are not toyota endorsed etc?

just like anywhere else, there are good and bad parts. as fara s ebay, I try to stay with sellers that have a feedback rating of les than 100, and check up one each of them before I purchase...I s'pose it jsut depends on ehat you're trying to buy. There are a lot of good sellers out there.

as far as warrnanty, I suppose it eally matters what parts you are talking about here.

I've been using ebay since 1999 and my wife and I have about 600 transactions - most of them as buyers - and only one bad experience.
Saying ebay is bad is BS.
Check feedback and read the negatives, if there are any. Sometimes, it's buyers that are the a-holes.
Use good judgement - don't buy from someone (generally speaking) in a third-world country. Stick to US dealers and look at feedback.

ebay is a great resource.

You are SO right! I sell on ebay and sometimes the buyers make a GOOD seller look REAL BAD...

Like they said read the feedback, of course any purchase you make on ebay or at any store you're taking a chance. Some times you get great products and sometimes you don't

I always use ebay. Its the first source I go to. I check out the items on ebay, then reserch the item from the manufacturer. If the item is not a brand name item then I get a little nervouse.
